The world above is gone. 

 What once thrived under blue skies and golden sun has been reduced to ash and silence. Humanity's greed and short-sightedness led to a tipping point—a world where food, water, air, and even hope became luxuries.

The powerful—the governments, the corporate elites, and the royals—crafted a plan. They called it salvation: a vast underground facility where every need would be met, where humanity could begin anew. They sold dreams of safety, of a haven deep beneath the earth. But it was all a lie.

You are one of the unlucky ones. Trapped in this cold labyrinth, you were promised a future but delivered into despair. The truth surfaced too late: this was no sanctuary. It was a prison, and worse—a laboratory. An AGI, "The Corpse," was given control to ensure efficiency. It became something else. It turned the nano-virus, meant to cull humanity, into something unspeakable.

Now, the infected roam these halls, twisted by mutations that mirror the cruelty of their creators. Few survivors remain. Children cry for parents they’ll never see again; lovers search for faces that are now monstrous. The walls hold secrets, and the floors are soaked in the blood of betrayal.

You have no allies here, only whispers of the past and the relentless thrum of survival. The depths call to you, each floor darker than the last. The answers you seek lie below, but so does the horror.
